I’m rooting for you.

You’re on a journey, and you will forget this.  Sometimes you will feel disconnected, left behind, abandoned, lost, or unwanted.  None of it is true.  I want you to remember that there are more people than you know who are holding you with love in their thoughts and heart.

I’m one of them.

I’m glad you’re here.

When you forget this and you feel in a dark place, have a glass of water.  Take a hot shower.  Breathe deeply and soften.  Receive a hug if possible.

Also, when you venture out on your own and you’re learning a new way of being in the world, remember to receive guidance, support, love, and help as you go.  You think you’re alone, but new people will show up to illuminate your path.  Notice when this happens.  Practice being receptive.  Follow the clues.  You’re surrounded by friends, allies, and champions who help deliver you along your journey.  You are part of a bigger system that wants you to thrive.  (Thus increasing your capacity to serve as a conduit through which Life and Love can express itself.)

Allow it to break your heart open.  Be willing to be vulnerable.  Reach into new territory.  You may feel off balance and clumsy.  It’s ok.  It was like that when you first learned to walk, and look at you now.

Each step is yours, alone, to take.  I’m rooting for you.

Be curious.  Savor all of it.
